A large energy charging then firing with a persistent explosion that ends with a massive blast. Created using a wide variety recorded sounds (including a washing machine, sliding of rocks in a metal bucket, and various other objects being thrown and collided), mixed and heavily edited in audacity.

Hello,. This is the sample pack that i completed for the sound design course at slam academy. The theme of this pack is sounds that could be used to make melancholy and dark sounding music, but use however you see fit. I used ableton’s operator and analog synthesizers and xfer’s serum plugin to create this sounds. All processing was used using ableton’s stock effects and serum’s stock effects. Amount of sounds recorded on the field : a construction site of a power plant where i worked. Sounds of tools and electrical devices, some motors, ventilation, people talking, metallic sounds (pieces of metal structures, doors, pipes which i played drums with), sounds of shoes with rubber outsole. Sounds mostly from the inside and a bit outside. Sometime the quality is not the best as i hid my recorder.

These will go well with any electronic or rap sound, or layered with acoustic drums for pop-rock or indie music. My vcr rewinding a vhs tape. Sounds pretty gnarly at the end. Recorded with a jm27 into my zoom h4n. As a side note, this sound was a real pain to record. Every time i set up the mic, it seemed like the ac would come on, the dog would bark, or some other sound would ruin the recording. Whatever, i got it done.

Also, the zoom is clearly getting some rf interference, most audible around 1:12 to 1:16. The zoom is battery powered. This is a duplicate of the flac upload that appeared to fail but maybe didn't.

Made this using an echo. Sounds like something from eraserhead. Tweaked around the knobs and settings throughout so theres quite a bit of different noises in this sample. Use it however you like.
